Volunteer Fire Fighters Training

Saturday, May 10, the Reading Fire Department was host to the Weathersfield and West Windsor Fire Departments for a hands on training for 18 volunteer fire fighters.

They participated with the Vermont Fire Academy instructors to do an intensive training in “Flashover Fire” in the State’s Mobile Training Lab.

In the morning they did in the classroom training and in the afternoon they did training inside the mobile van.

Lunch was provided by the Reading Fire Auxiliary for all the attendees.
