On May 16, 2014 at approximately 0800, officer’s from the Bellows Falls, Wilmington, Dover, Springfield, Walpole, and Chester Police Departments, Windham County Sheriff’s Department and the Vermont State Police arrested 11 individuals for the Sale and Possession of Heroin, Cocaine and other Regulated Drugs following a several week investigation into the trafficking of heroin in the Bellows Falls community.
This investigation was the result of ongoing cooperation between community members and law enforcement in identifying individuals and groups responsible for the trafficking of heroin and other opioids in this community.
Two of the subjects, Jason Cray and Keith Tyrell Jr. were held on bail and will be arraigned on May 16, 2014 to answer to their respective criminal charges. The remaining individuals were taken into custody and transported to either the Bellows Falls Police Department, Springfield Police Department or Vermont State Police Rockingham Barracks where they were processed and released on citation to appear in Windham District Court at a later date.
