Carly Larmie, 23, Charlestown, NH, was traveling south and was following a friend.
She reported she had a problem with the front wheels and was trying to signal her friend to pull over.
She said that she crossed the centerline while attempting to wave to her friend and that she collided with the Harley Davidson that was traveling north.
Francis Rogenski, 62, Westminster, VT, was operating the 2006 Harley
which struck the passenger side of the car.
The Harley was totaled, and Rogenski suffered severe leg injuries and internal injuries.
He was transported by DHART helicopter to the DHMC.
Larmie was issued tickets for operating a vehicle with defective equipment and for failing to drive to the right side of the road.
The investigation is ongoing as to whether or not criminal charges of negligent operation will be filed against Larmie.
