Vermont Emergency Management
The National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings and Weather Advisories for all of Southern Vermont. Travel will be impacted statewide. This will be heavy, wet snow.
Take it easy while shoveling. Overexertion can bring on a heart attack—a major cause of death during the winter.
Check on neighbors, especially those who are elderly or who may otherwise need special assistance. Be sure heating vents are clear of snow, and during a prolonged weather event that theyhave heat, electricity, and any needed medical supplies.
