Use Caution Getting Around Today
WCAX-TV
USE CAUTION GETTING AROUND TODAY:
Rain and areas of freezing rain will transition to mainly rain before ending as a few snow showers later today. Roads are icy in spots (even in areas with air temperatures above freezing, pavement temperatures are still cold!). By this afternoon, northwest winds will usher in much colder air, potentially creating a flash freeze, with more travel concerns. Nick will be on the air with your full forecast starting @8am.

See Something, Say Something
After a spate of recent robberies, business owners are banding together
with the help of the local chamber of commerce, police department and

Participants Needed - Board of Directors for Peer Run Support Group for Depression
Greetings!
I'm
in the process of trying to start up a peer run Support Group for those
of us with Depression. I'm in the very beginning stages of this process
and am looking for a few individuals (5 to 7) who might be willing to
participate on the Board of Directors.
While
the support group will meet monthly (anticipated, at least) the Board of
Directors would meet quarterly (every 3 months). That is only 4
meetings a year.
This web site shows the tentative direction I am taking with this endeavor. The final decision will be made by the Board.
If
you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please email
me and let me know.
If you know of
someone who might be interested, please share this email with them. You
do NOT have to be a person who has experienced depression to serve on
the Board of Directors.
Our
organizational/information meeting for the Board of Directors for the
Peer Run Depression Support Group is scheduled for Wednesday, December 21st at
6:30 pm at Martin Memorial Hall in Ascutney, VT. (If you need further
directions, please contact me.) The address is 5259 Route 5, Ascutney,
VT (right near exit 8 on I-91)
Please come
if you have any questions or interest in this project. Attending does
NOT mean you are committed to joining or participating.
Thank you so much for your time and consideration of this matter.
