CORNISH, N.H. -
Some tense moments Friday night at the Cornish Fair in N.H.
According to police a 28 yr-old mom and her 8-yr-old daughter fell from the Zipper ride as it was loading. Their car was about 8 to 10 feet off the ground at the time of the incident.
Police say the problem appeared to be mechanical.
A fair employee working the ride attempted to break one of the rider's fall.
All three people were taken to local hospitals, were treated and released with minor injuries.
Officials with the N.H. State Fire Marshal's office are investigating the incident.
Police say all of the rides passed inspection Friday, however as of 2:00pm Saturday, the Zipper ride was not running.
The Cornish Fair continues through Sunday.
