Wow, good job by the Weathersfield PD! It's scary to think about people driving around drunk, especially people who are wanted for another crime in another state. Ascutney has always seemed so sleepy, like nothing ever happens! But I guess that's good. Who knows what Bunten and Richardson might have done if they had not been apprehended.
ReplyDeleteI am a firm believer in that karma is going to get you in the end. You drink and drive and think you can get passed the police, then you make a stupid mistake like not using your blinker and all those efforts were for nothing. This was a perfect example of how justice will get you in the end.

This is one of those instances when karma comes back and serves justice to those who think they can skirt the law. The fact he thought he could drive drunk, but winds up getting pulled over for the most vanilla offense on the books, really was ironic. Now that he has been caught and charged with DUI, he must be kicking himself at that tiny little oversight.
