SWCRPC Meeting Notices

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission (SWCRPC) will hold the second of two public hearings on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Martin Memorial Hall in Ascutney, VT on draft amendments to its 2009 Regional Plan.  Updated sections of the plan include: Transportation, Education, Recreation, Natural Resources, Plan Relationship and Implementation.  The SWCRPC is authorized by Chapter 117 of the Vermont Municipal Planning and Development Act (24 V.S.A. §4348) to develop, adopt, and amend a regional plan. The purpose of the Regional Plan is to create a vision for coordinated growth and development in the southern Windsor County region in accordance with existing and future needs and resources.  Each of the ten town offices in southern Windsor County has copies of the draft chapters listed above available for review.  For more information, please contact the SWCRPC at (802) 674-9201.  The draft chapters are also available on the SWCRPC’s website: http://swcrpc.org/publications/. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Martin Memorial Hall Conference Room, located in the Town of Weathersfield Municipal Office, Route 5, Ascutney, VT, to decide whether to approve the municipal plan and confirm the municipal planning effort of the town of Windsor under 24 V.S.A. §4350. Information on both the approval and confirmation processes are available at the Regional Planning Commission.
