WEATHERSFIELD — A motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night after a crash on Weathersfield Center Road in Weathersfield.
Vermont State Police say at 9:29 p.m., Nathaniel Watkins was traveling
north on a 2005 Honda Shadow motorcycle when he failed to negotiate a
sharp right curve and traveled off the road into a field. Watkins was
ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
A Weathersfield Police Officer had attempted to stop Watkins for a speeding violation prior to the crash.
The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed by Hillside Auto.
The investigation is still ongoing.

Earlier in the day around 3:30pm passed through another accident around the same area where I seen two vehicles and an ambulance with perhaps four officers and possibly a couple of other personnel controlling the scene. Was wondering how those folks were doing. Hope, putting aside the accident, that they all are well.
