Cold, Potential For Significant Snow Assumulations, Rain? Week Isn't Looking Good!

Inside the Forecast

Today's Forecast

  http://www.wcax.com/weather

High pressure will continue to work in today. This will bring us clearing skies. However, temps will be chilly, with highs of 18/28.

Tonight we will see clear skies this evening give way to partly cloudy skies overnight. Lows will average -5/10; if you're heading out be sure to bundle up!

Monday skies are looking partly cloudy. After a very cold start highs will reach back between 25/32.

After that we are keeping our eye on a potent coastal storm that will move in on Tuesday and linger around through the end of the week.

There's still a great deal of uncertainty, but the potential does exist for significant snow accumulations, especially in the high terrain.

Right now it looks like snow and rain will develop on Tuesday. Periods of rain and snow will continue on Wednesday.

Then, as the flow turns more northerly, snow showers will stick around on Thursday and even into Friday. This is a very tricky forecast and our weather models are still struggling with the storm track...please check back for updates.

In the longer term it looks like we'll finally quiet down next Saturday.

Enjoy today's chilly sunshine!
