SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On this date Officer Norton made a traffic stop on a pickup truck that had spun it’s tires in an unsafe manner at the intersection of VT131 & VT106 along with not displaying a front registration plate. The operator, Mr. Root, after some investigation was taken into custody and transported to the Springfield Police Department for possible DUI. Mr. Root was further released upon a citation, pending a court hearing on July 15, 2014.
