WEATHERSFIELD BOW — Margaret Elizabeth Stevens, 98, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2016, at the Cedar Hill nursing home.
She was born March 23, 1918, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of James and Agnes (Mawhinney) Ferguson. Margaret lived in Newton Centre, Massachusetts, and worked at Ingersoll Rand for many years until retirement.
On Aug. 21, 1982, she married Everett W. Stevens of Weathersfield Bow. She was active in Fairview Farm, quilting and the Trinity Evangelical Free Church of Windsor. A genuinely nice lady, she lived her life without complaint.
She is survived by members of the Stevens family, longtime friends and her right hand man, Floyd Buck.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Weathersfield Bow Cemetery.
