Route 44 Closure Update

Another update on the Route 44 closure under the bridge construction:
The latest schedule for upcoming roadwork on I 91 in Windsor is as follows…
• We will be reopening Rt. 44 today, Wed., Sept. 3, at 5:00 p.m.
• Rt. 44 will again be closed beginning at 8 a.m. on Thurs. Sept. 11 through end of day Fri., Sept. 12.

During the shutdowns, truck traffic will be detoured to Rt. 106 and Rt. 131; car traffic will be rerouted to Rt. 44A. Rolling roadblocks will continue to be used to divert traffic on I-91 during this time.
Emergency vehicles will be permitted through at all times unless otherwise notified.
